Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Located at a breathtaking altitude of 12,310 feet along the historic Gangtok-Nathula highway, Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake) remains frozen during winter and reflects changing colors in summer. Fed by melting Himalayan glaciers, the oval-shaped lake is revered as holy by locals. Just a short drive ahead lies Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, dedicated to the revered Indian army soldier who guarded the border.
